Android is an excellent choice for small-to-medium-sized networks requiring a cost-effective, mid-performance solution. Running on a custom TelemetryTV lab-developed version of Android, the TelemetryTV Droid-1 device is tailored for organizations preferring Android for their digital signage needs.

Android Limitations

While Android is a great choice for certain use cases, it does not offer all the features of TelemetryOS, which is a full-featured, more powerful platform.

Certified Devices Program

Any Android device used other than the TelemetryTV Droid-1 needs to be part of our Certified Devices Program. This program ensures compatibility and optimal performance with TelemetryTV software. Currently, there are no listed certified devices other than the Droid-1.
