What are my options when audio is not working on a Windows device?

Audio Problems

There are four key steps to troubleshooting audio on a Windows device:

Check the Content

First, ensure the video or media content isn't muted within the player or application.

Device Management

Log in to app.telemetrytv.com.

Navigate to the device management section and verify if the device is muted. If it is, unmute the device through the dashboard.

System Settings

If you're using TelemetryOS, ensure the audio channel is configured correctly.
For Windows or other platforms, check the system settings to confirm that the audio configuration is set up properly.

Check the TV

Finally, confirm that the television is not muted.

Use the TV remote or on-screen menu to adjust the volume.

Audio for TelemetryTV and TelemetryOS Devices

To troubleshoot audio issues on TelemetryTV and TelemetryOS devices, follow these steps:

  1. Plug a mouse into the USB ports of the TelemetryOS Box.
  2. Right-click to bring up the context menu. In the context menu, select Setup.
  3. When the TelemetryOS settings are open, select the Screen Layout tab.
  4. Under sound device, try selecting the option [HDMI 0]. There should be a test button to test the speakers on the device you are using.
  5. If there is still no sound, please try the other drop-down menu options under the Sound Device drop-down menu.
